Disciple Africa February 2016

We held a 'Training the Trainer' conference in Eldoret, Kenya in early February followed by a day-long seminar near Kitale, Kenya and Sunday services the next day. Our trip was exhausting but very successful! You can view and download the outline and my speaker notes here.

We were amazed at the hunger of Africans for a solid non-denominational biblical foundation! They normally receive speakers from the western Christian culture who shower them with the same emotion-based, experiential dogma they also see on television. They asked for something different this time, insisting on training for their leaders in biblical truth, evangelism, and discipleship. This is exactly what we delivered as you'll see from the outline and speaker notes.

As a result, Bishop Chris Lusweti and his people have asked us to help them build a training center in Kitale to train leaders and laypeople alike. Teaching and mentoring leaders are critical to training and evangelism within their villages. You can quickly see just how incredible the return on investment can be as hundreds of leaders train tens-of-thousands of villagers! Toward this end, we've created a very rough 'straw man' for building their education program. You can see it here.

Please consider partnering with us to make up the $6,000 deficit from February's trip and establish the non-denominational training center in Kitale by clicking on the link below!

You will find below just a few of about 400 photos taken during our 10-day adventure. Enjoy!
